Late 2012 when I was travelling in Spain it was not the most stable politically. The evenings where filled with riots and the days with an under current of tension.What made me deiced to capture this frame was not just the sight of roof tops but the banners on the facades of homes, the gloomy nature of the clouds yet the stray ray of light giving a sense of hope to a country rich in faith, food and culture. This view takes in one of Barcelona’s most extensive districts, L’Eixample from the La Sagrada Familia.
