I headed down to the coast yesterday evening to have a look around and literally found this rock platform within minutes of getting out of the car. It was a little touch and go with the images that I was composing as there was a huge number of people enjoying the cool waters after a 42 degree day and a few fisherman right next to me catching their dinner. With that said though it surprises me sometimes how quickly our minds eye zooms in literally on a location or subject matter and in this case the floatsam pole. So I made it my mission to expose the image in camera as balanced as possible and create some water movement to add interest. This image is growing on me but again let me know what you all think. I love the water Adrian! Perhaps a little longer exposure to further “ghost” the ocean?
stay posted for the long exposure image cheers for commenting really appreciate it
Hi Adrian,
I love the composition and subject of this shot a lot. I just wish the wave splashing was a little less blue and perhaps a little lighter than the rest of the photo.
Jamie
Hey Jamie thanks for the comments. It always good to hear from you mate. I have another image of similar composition with a longer exposure that I will work on and get you to compare cheers Adrian
Thanks Adrian. Bring back the blogs I say! I don’t think the ocean needs to be any more blurry. It looks good as it is. There is just no one focal point right now.
Indeed Jamie re the blog. Im pushing mine and dropping by all the other blogs I have as links plus I have had a few new followers since the new year so there is still an active community out there. Again thanks for the critique always refreshing
Awesome blues!!
