Avon Valley Western Australia

Following on from the previous post the conditions from the storm where extremely different. The City was being smashed by heavy rain and lightning while the hills east of Perth where warm with high humidity but provided the perfect view of the storm cell causing all the havoc. Paul Pichugin and I have been covering many km’s over the past few days and it has certainly been well worth the effort, lack of sleep and reconnaissance for future photog road trips. This is a 7 image stitch from the side of the road heading out of the Avon Valley towards Northam. Canon 24mm f/8 ISO 100 AWIMages©

The Boat Shed, Crawly Western Australia

During the past few days we have had some exceptional storm clouds rolling in over Western Australia. Before heading out East with Paul Pichugin I quickly headed for the swan river and found myself feeling like I was in the eye of the storm. Looking for a  different perspective of an iconic shed that would have been photographed a million times and with the drama above and behind this would have to be one of my favourites that I have personally taken over the years.
