Along the Hwy

Tonight was an absolute mission. After picking up Paul Pichugin and heading up the coast out past two rocks on our way to find some lightning we headed inland to Gingin and ended up finding ourselves in Chittering Valley near Bindoon. We covered some distance tonight but it was certainly well worth the effort. We passed by a paddock full of rusting old wrecks and a few old ruins to return to next week. This image was captured along side the main highway heading back towards Perth. I love this image and will most likely end up on the wall, Paul I will be over to use your printer mate. A great night, missed some epic clouds while driving but hey this place turned it on for the short time we were there. AWI Images Canon 24 mm f/8 ISO 100, 5 image compilation ©

New Years Day 2012

I spent New years day sitting on the balcony of an apartment in Mandurah with some great friends. It was a day of cocktails and just absolute relaxation, like any great new years day should be. The image below is the view from the apartment with the estuary and the old Mandurah Bridge to the far right. It was perfect sitting there watching people come and go on all sorts of boats, dolphins swimming around and of course fabulous company. It was certainly a day to remember and this image is simply a record of how relaxed we all felt. A lot can happened when sitting on a balcony for 10 hrs !! 5 image stitch @24mm f/8 ISO 100 AWI IMages ©
